University Scholarship Program
Only 38% of young people between 18 and 25 years old enter higher education.
In the most vulnerable sectors, this percentage drops to 17%*.
The University Scholarships program seeks to promote access, permanence and graduation in higher education for young people.
The young people accompanied by Cimientos receive financial support and guidance to strengthen their transition through university and obtain their degree.
Through personalized tutoring, meetings with professionals, field visits and participation in exchange spaces, young people develop skills to interact, work as a team, receive information and complementary development opportunities that enrich their training.

“The program not only interested me because of the financial aid, but also because of the personalized support that one receives during the degree, which is something that in principle one does not measure, but the tutor is essential. The scholarship allowed me to go into the field and put into practice everything I had learned during college, see drilling work firsthand, and surround myself with engineers. There, I was able to reaffirm that what I had studied was what I wanted for my professional future. “I went looking for challenges and now I know I want to work on this.”
